Metal (51 images)
The opacity of metal does not fool me. In every piece I see a history of discovery, ingenuity and craft. Weighing the displacement of one by another and the respective growth fostered, i.e. Bronze Age by Iron Age, one realizes the impending human facade of shiny dominance over its surroundings. A quick glance "under the hood", though, reveals that forgotten foundation of corrosion which lies at our core - lacking polish and brittle to an end.
